What you should know before getting one and where to find one

There are many dogs but only one Bulldog.  They are short and stocky and by far not the fastest runners, but still very lovable none the less.  Here’s some more basic information and education about the breed one might want to know before owning one.  Also check out more information about the breed at The Bulldog Club of America (BCA) website.

What are the characteristics of a Bulldog?

Bulldogs are known for their outgoing, kind, distinguished nature and their low muscular frame.  But don’t be mistaken, this animals can make the most out of what ever environmental they are in, whether it’s a urban city or a rural countryside.  They were bred to participate in the “sport” of bullbaiting, but those days are long gone.  Now the Bulldog’s main purpose is to be mans best friend.
